While enjoying the best of Portugal's culinary and wine scenes, our immersive program will engage with local experts, attorneys, and academics offering relevant commentary on the Portuguese and EU legal and political systems, US-Portuguese relations, art, history, architecture, and religion. You will also learn why Portugal is fast becoming a popular haven for US and UK expats, retirees, digital nomads and young Americans alike. You do not want to miss this opportunity to experience the heart of Portugal while receiving CLE credit (anticipated/pending).

Join our Core Program for 4-nights in Lisbon from February 18-22, 2026. Add-on 3-nights in Northern Portugal, staying in Porto from February 22-25, 2026, including an excursion to the breathtaking Douro Wine Valley. (Return home from Porto-OPO on February 25 if on the 7-night program). 

Add-on 1-additional night of February 25 (8 nights total) returning to Lisbon with a stop in Coimbra, farewell dinner & overnight in Lisbon to catch flights the following morning of February 26, 2026.

You are free to book flights with your preferred airlines and class to and from Portugal or explore using miles or points as you see fit. Please plan your air travel according to your corresponding registration.  For those on the 4 or 8 night programs, your program begins in LISBON (LIS) and ends in LISBON (LIS). For those on the 7 night program, your program begins in LISBON (LIS) and ends in PORTO (OPO).  PLEASE NOTE THAT AIRFARE IS NOT INCLUDED IN TRIP COSTS.

For those who wish to arrive ahead of the program or extend their stay at the Group Hotels, please send requests to team@cle-abroad.com. Prices vary depending on the property, occupancy and room category.  Subject to availability.   

 The program requires considerable walking often with uneven or slippery surfaces, cobblestone or rough walkways, or staircases where an elevator may not be available. Participants must be able to walk unassisted or alternative transportation may need to be arranged and could be subject to additional costs.
