For an additional adventure, add an extension to Rovaniemi! The capital of Lapland (Northern Finland) this modern town is the official home of Santa Claus and an ideal location for viewing the Northern Lights!

Please Note:  This program will require walking on uneven and sometimes hilly cobblestone streets and stairs where an elevator is not always available. Participants must be able to walk unassisted.   

As the Northern lights are a natural phenomenon, we are unable to guarantee they will be visible during our extension.

Just a friendly reminder: airfare isn’t included in the trip costs. You are free to book flights with your preferred airlines and class to and from Denmark, Sweden & Finland or explore using miles or points as you see fit. Please plan your air travel according to your corresponding registration. We anticipate program activities to begin in Copenhagen around 1:00pm on Day 1, Tuesday, October 26th. 

• For those on the 5 night Copenhagen/Stockholm program, your program begins in Copenhagen (CPH) October 26th and ends in Stockholm (ARN) October 31st.

• For those on the 6 night Stockholm/Helsinki program, your program begins in Stockholm (ARN) October 28 and ends in Helsinki (HEL) November 3rd.

• For those on the 8 night Copenhagen/Stockholm/Helsinki program, your program begins in Copenhagen (CPH) October 26th and ends in Helsinki (HEL)November 3rd.

• For those extending their stay on the Northern Lights Excursion, your program ends in Helsinki (HEL) November 6th.

If you plan to arrive before the program start date, hotels typically offer the group rate for extra nights. Please let us know your needs as you finalize travel plans—requests should be made at least 60 days in advance, as extra nights are subject to availability and group rates may not apply to last-minute requests.

CLE Abroad, a division of Travel de Novo LLC, is a registered Seller of Travel (CST# 2140365-40). All customer funds are held in a trust account and safeguarded for the exclusive use of your program and related services.    

72-Hour Cancellation Window

Participants may always cancel within 72 hours of booking for a full refund, provided the booking is made at least 45 days prior to the program start date.

Cancellations are subject to the following schedule, based on the date the written cancellation request is received:

• Cancellations 180 days or more prior to the program start date (on or before April 29, 2027): Full refund.

• Cancellations between 179-120 days prior to the program start date (between April 29, 2027 and June 28, 2027): $1,000 administrative cancellation fee per participant will apply.

• Cancellations between 119-90 days prior to the program start date (between June 28, 2027 and July 28, 2027): 50% cancellation fee per participant will apply.

• Cancellations within 90 days of the program start date (after July 28, 2027): Full program cost. No refunds will be issued.

Participants may request future program credit instead of applicable refunds, subject to CLE Abroad approval. Any credits issued must be used within 18 months and are non-transferable.

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance is highly recommended in case you are unable to travel and have incurred one of the cancellation penalties noted above.

Additional Services

Individually requested services (such as extra hotel nights or special arrangements) may be non-refundable once confirmed and paid.
