The New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers invites you and your guest(s) to join our private delegation in Sicily.  The largest Mediterranean island, Sicily presents a deep historical and cultural relevance to mainland Italy and is home to splendid sites such as temples, chapels, mosaics and an active volcano. With a storied past including Phoenicians, Greeks, Vandals, Ostrogoths, and the Normans, Sicilian history is ripe with music, architecture, art, and cuisine influenced by all of its inhabitants.  Come join us on an in depth tour of the island, its heritage, and significance to mainland Italy.

The 4 night core program explores Palermo and the surrounding area, including a day trip to Monreale and a picturesque seaside experience while visiting Erice and Marsala. Delve into the history, culture, and legal significance while sampling the fresh delicacies.

Our 7 night program includes the first 4 nights in Palermo plus 3 nights in Catania exploring Eastern Sicily with day trips to Mount Etna, Siracusa & Noto. We also visit the awe inspiring Valley of the Temples on our transfer day to the east end of the island. Add 1 additional night in Eastern Sicily to explore Taormina and all of its splendor on a full day trip. Alternatively, some participants may wish to extend their stay in Sicily for R&R and might prefer spending multiple days in Taormina independently at your leisure.

Please note that this program will require walking on uneven and sometimes hilly cobblestone streets and stairs where an elevator may not be available. Participants must be able to walk unassisted.

Please Note: Package prices may increase for signups received after May 15, 2026 due to a limited number of rooms and services available at negotiated group rates.   

For those who wish to arrive ahead of the program or extend their stay at a group hotel, please send requests to team@cle-abroad.com.  Prices vary depending on room category.  Subject to Availability & Confirmation by the Hotel.  We kindly ask that requests for additional nights be made at least 60 days prior to arrival.

72-Hour Cancellation Window
Participants may cancel within 72 hours of booking for a full refund, provided the booking is made at least 45 days prior to the program start date.

Cancellations are subject to the following schedule, based on the date the written cancellation request is received:

• Cancellations 180 days or more prior to the program start date (on or before May 12, 2026): Full refund.

• Cancellations between 179-120 days prior to the program start date (between May 12, 2026 and July 11, 2026): $1,000 administrative cancellation fee per participant will apply.

• Cancellations between 119-90 days prior to the program start date (between July 11, 2026 and August 10, 2026): 50% cancellation fee per participant will apply.

• Cancellations within 90 days of the program start date (after August 10, 2026): Full program cost. No refunds will be issued.

Participants may request future program credit instead of applicable refunds, subject to organizer approval. Any credits issued must be used within 18 months and are non-transferable.

Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is highly recommended in case you are unable to travel and have incurred one of the cancellation penalties noted above.

Acknowledgment Requirement
Participants must review and acknowledge the full Terms and Conditions, including Cancellation Terms, at check-out.

Additional Services
Individually requested services (such as extra hotel nights or special arrangements) may be non-refundable once confirmed and paid.
