The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) invites you and your guest to join a thoughtfully curated cultural immersion in Ireland designed with the elder law practitioner in mind.
This program goes beyond traditional travel, offering meaningful engagement with Irish attorneys, policymakers, academics, and community advocates. Through these exchanges, participants will explore comparative perspectives on aging populations, long-term care frameworks, guardianship and capacity, social supports, and access to justice within Ireland’s legal and healthcare systems.
Set against Ireland’s rich historical and cultural landscape, the experience also provides broader insight into the Rule of Law, Irish legal and political institutions, international relations, and the societal values that shape elder care and policy.
Choose from 4 or 7-night package options. You will not want to miss this unique opportunity to deepen your professional perspective through cross-cultural dialogue while earning 6–10 CLE credits (anticipated).
Our core 4-night program makes Dublin our home base to explore ancient castles, visit landmarks, museums and notable legal institutions, and sample delicious local cuisine and beverages. Choose from optional day trip to Glendalough National Park or an opportunity to for further exploration o Dublin, play a round of golf, or simply free time to relax.
Add 3 nights in Belfast, the vibrant capital of Northern Ireland (UK), engaging with local ambassadors and guides offering context to the region's unique political history, Good Friday Agreement, and the ongoing reconciliation efforts and peace process.
