Great location, experienced guides, and a smooth trip from start to finish!

We had a great time and were able to see so much of Scotland. The tour guides were wonderful, the people were warm and welcoming, and the Scottish food was absolutely delicious. It was truly an amazing experience! The accommodation was also comfortable. The hotel was located in the heart of the city, within walking distance of everything. We could never have visited so many cities and beautiful places on our own — everything was so thoughtfully organized and perfectly planned. It was an unforgettable trip!

Overall was a great trip with experiences I could not have had on my own like the tour of the faculty of advocates and the private tours of the castles etc. My only complaint is that one of our guides seemed kind of sexist and grumpy (Hugh) and didn't really seem to use our time wisely, like he'd lecture us on something and then the same thing. When you're somewhere new you really want to make the most of your time and I felt like the tour the first day around new town was complete waste of time and we didn't need a lecture from him about Faculty of Advocates when we were going in the Faculty of Advocates to get same information. The guest lecturers were wonderful, especially the law professor from Glasgow and the Witches of Scotland women. I could have listened to them forever. I wish the Witches lecture had not been at the end of a long day and we had more time to chat with them and ask questions.

This was another comprehensive, fun, exciting whirlwind of a trip incorporating must see sites with great legal dialogue and fascinating discussions relevant to today.

It was a great trip. The meals were top notch. The hotel accommodations were very good. My only wish is that I had more tour time in Helsinki, Finland. It was a good group of people and the guides from CLE Abroad were great.
