We engage with local experts, academics, officials and change makers who offer in-depth commentary on the German legal-political systems, economics, environmental justice, history and religion.  Germany is a country that boasts stunning natural landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and friendly locals.

Our core 4-night program makes Berlin our home base to be immersed in history, visit landmarks, museums and notable legal institutions, and sample delicious local cuisine and beverages. Included is a day trip to Potsdam, the once home of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia, to marvel at the architecture and opulence.

Following Berlin, we move south, staying one night in Nuremberg, the center of post WWII war crime trials and of historical significance partly to location and the Nazi party's use of the city.

From Nuremberg, we move to Munich, where we spend 3 nights and close out our program.  Munich, known for Oktoberfest and its beerhalls, is full of museums and cultural heritage making it the perfect spot to wind down and indulge in German delicacies.

Please take note that airfare to/from Germany is not included.   Participants joining the Core 4-night program in Berlin should plan on arriving at the group hotel on May 6th by 3pm.

For those on the core Berlin program only, please plan on leaving from Berlin on May 10th.

For those continuing to Nuremberg and Munich, your journey will end on May 14th in Munich.
