The New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers invites you and your guest(s) to join our private delegation for a journey through Colombia's rich cultural heritage, complicated history, and present-day realities.

Our curated exchange engages scholars, officials, entrepreneurs and changemakers offering a window to the Colombian way of life, political and economic system,  art history, architecture, and religion. 

Register for a 2 night pre-trip add-on at the Cannua Lodge, an Eco Luxe Lodge in Marinilla. (Inventory at Cannua lodge is limited). Explore the lodge and its sustainable roots along with local coffee and artisans.

Our Core program makes Medellin our home for 3 nights where we visit a flower farm, national parks, and local artwork while immersed in "The City of Eternal Spring".

Extend your stay for 3 more nights with a flight to Cartagena. Explore this vibrant city with optional tastings, island excursion, and artistic street walk.

Join us for a unique journey through this diverse country highlighting the culture, heritage, and growth into the modernity.

Please note that this program will require high-intensity walking on uneven and sometimes hilly cobblestone streets and stairs where an elevator is not always available. Participants must be able to walk unassisted.  Itineraries are subject to change. 72-Hour Cancellation Window

Participants may cancel within 72 hours of booking for a full refund, provided the booking is made at least 45 days prior to the program start date.

• Cancellations 120 days or more prior to the program start date (on or before November 7, 2026): Full refund.

• Cancellations between 119-90 days prior to the program start date (between November 8, 2026 and December 7, 2026): $1,000 administrative cancellation fee per participant will apply.

• Cancellations between 89-60 days prior to the program start date (between December 8, 2026 and January 6, 2027): 50% cancellation fee per participant will apply.

• Cancellations within 60 days of the program start date (after January 7, 2027): Full program cost. No refunds will be issued.

Participants may request future program credit instead of applicable refunds, subject to organizer approval. Any credits issued must be used within 18 months and are non-transferable.

Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is highly recommended in case you are unable to travel and have incurred one of the cancellation penalties noted above.

Acknowledgment Requirement
Participants must review and acknowledge the full Terms and Conditions, including Cancellation Terms, at check-out.

Additional Services
Individually requested services (such as extra hotel nights or special arrangements) may be non-refundable once confirmed and paid.

Please remember: airfare to and from Colombia is not included in your program fee. Please do not book non-refundable flights until notified by CLE Abroad staff that the program is a GO. Just be sure to plan your air travel according to your specific registration details.

For those on the 5 night trip beginning in Marinilla (MDE), your return flights should depart from Medellin (MDE) on Friday March 12th. 

For those on the 6 night trip beginning in Medellin (MDE), your return flight should depart from Cartagena (CTG) on Monday November 15th.

For those on the 8 night trip beginning in Marinilla (MDE), your return flights should depart from Cartagena (CTG) on Monday November 15th. 

Airport transfers on departure day are included in the cost of your trip and will be coordinated based on the flight information that you provide CLE Abroad. Please plan your air travel accordingly.

Our group hotels will customarily extend the negotiated group rate but we kindly ask that requests for additional nights be made at least 60 days prior to arrival as the hotel may not honor group rates for last-minute requests.   Subject to availability.
